AP Benson appointed delivery partner for WRAP’s Increasing Recycled Content in Welsh Manufacturing (REMake) Voucher Testing Scheme

AP Benson is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by the Waste & Resources Action Plan (WRAP) as one of the delivery contractors to deliver the REMake voucher testing scheme across Wales.

This voucher scheme is designed to offer Welsh manufacturing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) advice and support to introduce or increase the use of recycled materials in their production, processes and/or packaging. AP Benson will assist SMEs to find ways of increasing the use of recyclate, potential capital investment, identification of sources of input material and then also help with the implementation of the opportunities identified.

AP Benson director Tom Girn stated, "We are delighted to have been selected for this project which demonstrates our expertise in the environmental and waste management field and will also further strengthen our relationship with WRAP."

WRAP is a not-for-profit company created in 2000 to help businesses and individuals reap the benefits of reducing waste, develop sustainable products and use resources in an efficient way.
